Designer/Integrator

Motorization Retrofit Service Request Forms

  • Designer and/or Workroom...wanting to use MWT's Services for Measure and Installation only:

    (Please reference the "Measure Request" and "Installation Request" Policy and Procedure documentation for a more detailed service outline.)

    • Fill out MWT "Measure Request" form and email it back to us
    • MWT will start to contact the end-user within he first 24hrs of receiving the request
    • MWT schedules appointment and then inform the designer or workroom of the appointment
    • MWT performs the measure and fills out the Blinds/Shades "Order Form" and then faxes it back to the designer with all the sizes (Final measurements can only be sent after payment for the measure has been received)
    • Once all of the product is in, the designer faxes or emails MWT's "Order Form" back to MWT and we start the scheduling process (Note: If a designer is new to using MWT's service or payment has not been defined on the proposal, final payment for the product and installation is required prior to the installation)
    • After the installation is completed the designer will receive a final invoice and a "Job Completion" sign-off sheet signed by the end-user signifying that the installation has been approved by the end-user (MWT does not collect any money's from the end-user)
  • Designer and/or Workroom...wanting MWT to measure/furnish/install motorized or manual treatments and/or control boxes:

    • Fill out MWT "Measure Request" form and email it back to us
    • MWT will start to contact the designers customer or the designer within the first 24hrs of receiving the request (the designer must be at the measure to discuss treatment, treatment control, and light wiring)
      • If integrating blinds/shades/or drapery treatments with a home automation system it is a good idea to have the integrator and/or electrician at the onsite measure/consultation (it is the designers responsibility to schedule with the integrator)
    • Once the on-site consultation and/or measure is complete, MWT will put a quote together to furnish and install all shades and/or motors and control devices needed to motorize the specified window treatments (Note: MWT will furnish and/or install manual and motorized treatments for the same project)
      • Pricing agreement not available over the internet...Please call for details/specifics
    • Once all details have been confirmed and a deposit has been received, MWT will order all parts/treatments contracted to provide
    • Once the entire order has been recieved and any treatments needing retro-fitting have been completed, MWT will notified the designer that their order has been received and scheduling to install will start
    • Once the installation is scheduled the designer will be notified via fax or email
      • If a designer is new to MWT's services or payment terms have not been defined on the proposal, final payment for the product and installation is required prior to the installation
    • After the installation is completed the designer will receive a final invoice and a "Job Completion" sign-off sheet signed by the end-user signifying that the installation has been approved by the end-user
  • Designer and/or Workroom...wanting to use MWT's services for motorization retro-fit and/or removal and reinstallation:

    • Call or email us to discuss the product you want retrofitted
    • MWT will put a proposal together and fax or email it over to the designer based on what the designer has specified over the phone or in an email
    • Once the proposal has been approved, a deposit is required and once the deposit is received MWT will order all components needed to complete the retrofit
      • If the designer wants MWT to do the take-down and re-installation it is at the time of receiving the deposit that the end-user will be contacted to schedule the treatment removal date (temporary shades will be installed upon request only)
    • Once the product(s) to be retro-fitted have been received and/or removed, MWT will complete the retro-fit within 1-2 weeks of receiving the product and then schedule a product pick-up, drop off, or installation date
      • If MWT is re-installing the retro-fitted treatments, once the re-install date has been scheduled with the end-user a fax or email notification will be sent to the designer
        • If a designer is new to MWT's services or payment terms have not been defined on the proposal, final payment for the product and installation is required prior to installation
      • If MWT is not doing the re-installation payment is due upon pick-up or delivery
    • After the re-installation is complete the designer will recieve a final invoice and the "Job Completion" sign- off sheet signed by the end-user signifying that the installation has been approved by the end-user
  • Integrators...wanting to use MWT's services for motorized window treatment Measure/Furnish/Installation:

    • Call or email us to discuss the project and how you and your customer are interested in controling the window treatments
    • Once the basics have been discussed an "On-Site" consultation with the end-user will be scheduled to discuss product
    • Once the end-user meeting has been completed MWT will contact the integrator to discuss the meeting and speak in detail about how the shades will communicate and operate with the home automation system
    • After the communication details are reviewed, MWT will put a quote together and present it to the end-user or integrator (it is the integrators responsibility to say who the proposal should be presented to)
      • Pricing to the integrator and end-user is different
        • Pricing agreement not available over the internet...Please call for details/specifics
    • Once a proposal is accepted a deposit is required from the end-user or integrator and once the deposit is received all agreed upon products and control devices will be ordered
    • After the entire order has been received and any treatments needing retro-fitting have been completed, MWT will notify the integrator that their order, or their customers order, has been received and scheduling to install will start
    • Once the installation is scheduled the integrator will be notified via fax or email
      • If all payments are being done through the integrator, and the integrator is new to MWT's services or payment terms have not been defined on the proposal, the final payment for the product and installation is required prior to the installation
      • After the installation is completed the integrator will receive a final invoice and the "Job Completion" sign- off sheet signed by the end-user signifying that the installation has been approved by the end-user
